The accessible pathway from Elk Grove Blvd. passes under a large Oak that has been retained.

The pathway under the Oak tree transitions to a decked structure, with benches, to allow pedestrians to enjoy the shade. The deck under the tree’s drip line minimizes damage to the roots.

The rose garden behind the monument sign at the main street intersection serves as a focal point for the project.
