Garth Ruffner Landscape Architect
Anchor Tenant, CVS Pharmacy
This 6 acre shopping center was completed in early 2002. The project is located at the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 49 in Calaveras County.
The eastern side of the project uses durable but lush ornamental vegetation.
The western third of the parking lot transitions to a more natural appearance, with ornamental grasses and native Oak trees.
Washington Hawthorn trees are planted across the drive aisle from the major buildings. Using a smaller tree like Hawthorn in this area allows visibility to facade mounted signs and minimizes lighting conflicts.
