Garth Ruffner Landscape Architect

The 4 acre project required the remodeling of the  existing parking lot. The landscape work was completed in the Fall of 2009 (when these photos were taken).

The 5th of 6 office buildings at Natomas Gateway Corporate Center is registered for a LEED Silver rating.

West Building Facade

One LEED point was completed by reducing landscape water use to half the quantity allowed by the City. High water use turf and moderate water use flowering shrubs are concentrated at accent points, while drought tolerant plants are installed elsewhere. All shrub areas are drip irrigated.
